Summer Book Club – Thursday, August 15^th 7:30PM

The Meet the Author committee is sponsoring a ‘traditional book club’ this summer. Come join your Torat El friends, (the author will NOT be there), for a discussion of the book The Wartime Sisters, written by Lynda Cohen Loigman. 

There is no fee, but registration is required and space is limited.  Please reserve by August 8^th by calling the office at (732) 531-4410. 

This program is open to temple members only and is not an official Meet the Author event.

 Shabbat at the Beach – Friday, August 23 ~ 7:15pm

A very special Shabbat Service at the Conover Pavilion at Phillips Beach in Deal.                     

Our services begin at 7:15pm with summer onegs to follow. 

Don’t HORSE Around! RACE Over to Sunday Funday – Sunday, September 8 ~ 12:00pm or later RAIN OR SHINE!

At MONMOUTH PARK RACETRACK (First Race at 12:50pm)

$5 per person ~ Kids under 5-Free

MEET THE AUTHOR SERIES CONTINUES….Meet Armando Lucas Correa, author of The Daughter’s Tale

Congregation Torat El is excited to announce the return of Armando Lucas Correa, author of The Daughter’s Tale, to kick off the third season of the popular Meet The Author series. Mr. Correa was our inaugural author at the event in 2017 when he introduced his previous book, The German Girl.

Pre-Paid $15 per person/$20 at the door. Books are available in the temple office for $20
